Mis-sold PPI

 

Have you ever been sold Payment Protection Insurance, also known as Loan Insurance or PPI?

If you have borrowed money, such as a loan, credit card or mortgage, it is common for you to have been sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) and you could be entitled to thousands of pounds in compensation.

This type of insurance aims to pay out a monetary benefit, enabling you to continue paying your monthly payments if you are unable to work. This would usually be as a result of accident, sickness or redundancy.

We do not have any minimum claim amount for these types of claims and you are still entitled to claim if the loan/card has been repaid.

There are many grounds for compensation including:

  • You worked for less than 16 hours per week
  • You were employed on a temporary or contract basis
  • You were self employed
  • You were under 18 or over 65
  • You were not told about the cost of the insurance or had no idea you were buying it
  • You were not asked about any other insurances you may have had
  • You were not asked about any existing medical conditions you may have had
  • You had an existing illness
  • You were aware of impending unemployment
  • You were told that the insurance was necessary for the loan to be approved
  • You were told that you would have a better chance of your loan being approved if you purchased the insurance
  • You were not told that you may be able to arrange the cover cheaper elsewhere

THE COST OF THIS SERVICE

 

We charge no upfront fee for this service.

The fee will be 25%, +VAT, of any damages recovered.

For example, if the total compensation recovered is £2000, we will deduct a maximum of £587.50, which means you will receive £1412.50.
